New expressions of wine,
written in the oldest soil on earth.

The Cradle of Wine

Eight thousand years
of Georgian wine.

6000 BCE
The First Vintage
Georgia produces the world's earliest confirmed evidence of wine — grape residue in clay vessels at Gadachrili Gora, earlier than Egypt, earlier than Greece or Rome.
500 BCE
The Qvevri Method
Georgian winemakers perfect the art of fermenting in buried clay qvevri — a method unchanged for millennia, recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage.
I Century
Dzalisi · Roman Encounter
A Roman noble builds a villa near Mtskheta. A mosaic of Dionysus and Ariadne — wine, myth, and Georgia converge in tile and mortar.

Ambrosia Founded
Three women from Italy, France, and Greece-America arrive in Georgia with ambition and reverence — to write a new chapter in an 8,000-year story.

Georgia did not discover wine. Wine discovered Georgia. The Alazani valley, the volcanic soils of Kakheti, the ancient varietals — Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, Kisi, Mtsvane — they carry a memory older than writing.

The qvevri — an amphora of red clay sealed with beeswax — is not a technique. It is a civilisation.
Dzalisi Mosaic
The Label

The Dzalisi
Mosaic.

At Dzalisi, near Georgia's ancient capital Mtskheta, a Roman mosaic floor depicting Dionysus and Ariadne was uncovered beneath centuries of earth. Reimagined as a modern label, the ancient stonework was reborn — the Georgia silhouette cradling the scene like a vessel holds wine. Not imitation. Resurrection.

Our Founders

Three Women,
One Vision.

From three continents to one valley. They came with ambition, a reverence for the unknown, and a desire to create something that hadn't existed before — a winery that could hold the depth of Georgian heritage and the clarity of a global perspective simultaneously.

“Female-founded. Internationally-forged. Georgian at heart.”
